TOMI LAHREN TO HER PRO-LIFE CRITICS: I notice, you think that you know s**t.

On Friday, Tomi Lahren appeared on ABC’s The View, and announced that she was “pro-choice.” Her remarks received heavy criticism from conservatives, resulting in a suspension from Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze. On Monday, Lahren responded to critics via Instagram, by posting a selfie and quoting songwriter Kyle Andrews’ iSpy lyrics.

I notice, you think that you know s**t. All this shade that’s coming at me, I wonder who throws it. They can’t see the vision, boy they must be outta focus. #TeamTomi”

In The View panel discussion, she accused pro-life, pro-gun conservatives of being hypocrites.

“I am a constitutional, y’know, someone that loves the Constitution. I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies,” she expressed.

According to the Daily Caller, Lahren’s suspension from TheBlaze will be a minimum of one-week. Further information is expected to be provided on Tuesday by TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck.

Tomi Lahren confuses Constitutionally protected civil rights granted by the Supreme Court with the Constitution and moral law itself. The Constitution does NOT declare that a woman has a right to terminate her pregnancy through having an abortion. If anything, the Declaration of Independence says the opposite when it declares a Constitutional principle, the inalienable right to “LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Tomi Lahren’s approach to being a conservative seems to be, whatever is currently law, is Constitutional, and conservatives are hypocrites therefore if they do not abide by current law. Well, sorry, but that is a white flag surrender to godless leftwing liberalism, which will then be free to create all “Constitutional” law. According to Lahren’s philosophy, conservatives should now all be pro-gay, pro-marriage equality advocates, and when transgender issues become law, conservatives must comply with the Constitution on these matters as well, and not make laws to overturn bad legislation.

With Lahren’s Constitutional philosophy, slavery would still be the law of the land, for anyone opposing slavery, when it was Constitutionally upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court as a legal right, would be hypocrites going against the Constitution.

A fertilized egg, embryo, or blastocyst is not a “person.” It may be genetically human, but that by itself does not confer some special status that the embryos of other species somehow lack.

Chuck Anziulewicz, how exactly do you describe “person?”

The standard definition of a ‘person’ is: a human being regarded as an individual.

A fertilized egg, embryo, fetus, or anything else “genetically human” is a person.

Embryos of other species are not “persons,” because they are NOT human beings.

Yet embryos of other species are often more protected than human embryos.

If you are suggesting personhood is conferred only after a breath of life, where is your evidence of that, scientific or Scriptural?

If you are saying personhood only happens after conscious awareness of self, then we should be able to slaughter babies up till about 3-years-old, as no one retains significant memories of life or memorable personhood life events during those growing years.

No Chuck, personhood is conferred at conception…

The PERSONHOOD of the prophet Jeremiah was known by YHWH (the Lord) in his embryo / fetus stage:

    JEREMIAH 1:5:
    “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
    Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Planned Parenthood’s inflammatory rhetoric

Bryan Fischer

The pro-life community abhors and flatly rejects vigilante justice. Regardless of what led up to the shooting at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado, one thing should be stated clearly: we do not solve the problem of violence against babies by violence against women.

We are not to take justice into our own hands. Justice is government’s responsibility, not ours. According to Romans 13, it is the duty of civil government to use the authority God has delegated to it to punish those who take human life without just cause. Our aim in pro-life activism is to get government to do its job and give maximum protection to the most innocent and vulnerable human beings among us, babies in the womb.

In the wake of the shooting at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado, which left three people dead and nine injured, we have a heard a lot of rhetoric about, well, rhetoric.

Colorado’s governor, John Hickenlooper, blamed “inflammatory rhetoric” from the pro-life community for the shooting, while Planned Parenthood execs, not wanting to let a good crisis go to waste, blamed the whole thing on “hateful language, hateful speech.”

Now authorities will be the first to tell you that they do not know what the shooter’s motives were. He evidently muttered something about “no more baby parts” to someone, but law enforcement isn’t talking any more. They’ve sealed all the records involved with this incident, which typically is an indication that the facts do not support the narrative which Colorado officials like the governor have been eager to push. We may have to wait days to get more information about what drove the shooter to commit this terrible deed.

The shooter is likely mentally ill to a disturbing degree, and has a criminal record to boot. He once shoved his wife out a window, once shot a neighbor’s dog, and was once arrested as a peeping tom. He is not a Republican, but is registered instead as an independent. He’s also registered to vote as a female. He lived part-time in a ramshackle mountain cabin without running water or electricity, 15 miles from civilization. In other words, he’s far more like the Unabomber than any pro-lifer I know.

But in the all the conversation about rhetoric, one salient fact is being overlooked. All the most disturbing rhetoric in this entire affair has come from Planned Parenthood executives themselves.

The videos from the Center for Medical Progress feature Planned Parenthood doctors and bureaucrats speaking in their own words. There is no running commentary from a pro-life voice telling us what we should think about what we are seeing and hearing. The only time pro-life voices are heard on the tapes is when questions are being asked. Planned Parenthood execs are shown using their own words to answer them.

Who talked about “striving for” an intact baby’s head? Planned Parenthood. Who talked about cutting a baby’s face with scissors from its chin to the top of its head to get at its brain? Planned Parenthood. Who talked about buying a Lamborghini with the sale of baby body parts? Planned Parenthood.

Who talked about selling intact baby corpses? Planned Parenthood. Who laughed about warning labs that an intact corpse was on the way so lab staff wouldn’t freak out when they opened the box? Planned Parenthood.

Who talked about harvesting baby lungs and hearts and livers? Planned Parenthood. Who talked about putting baby brains on ice within five minutes of extraction to keep them fresh? Planned Parenthood. Who talked about harvesting baby spines? Planned Parenthood. Who talked about how easily a baby’s eyes pop out of his head? Planned Parenthood.

Bottom line: to find someone to blame for incendiary rhetoric, Planned Parenthood executives only need to pop in the latest CMP video and listen to themselves talk.

When Life is Measured in Weeks

Last Saturday morning saw a nationwide protest of Planned Parenthood. My sixteen year old daughter and I were at the Grand Rapid’s clinic early. The crowds grew steadily, and by 11 AM there were a thousand people filling the public areas in front and across from the main entrance to our local PP abortuary.

The morning was filled with prayer, singing, and serious conversations about abortion and life. Respectful voices were muted in reverence for the thousands of babies that have been sacrificed inside of that Planned Parenthood facility over many years.

On our drive home I received a text, and a photo, from my daughter-in-law. Friends had lost their baby to a miscarriage the day before. The parents wanted to share images of their son Job with those who would understand, as they do, that though their child’s life here on earth was measured in weeks, it was meaningful and deserving of respect.

Last Friday little Job couldn’t hang on any longer, and he was born, too early to survive outside of his mother’s womb. Job’s newborn photo clearly reveals a fully formed baby boy. His body is complete, just not ready for the outside world. Sadly, on that same day thousands of women in the US chose to allow abortionists to surgically remove babies from the wombs where they were meant to remain until ready for birth.

Millions of unborn children have died as a matter of “choice” in abortion clinics across the country. These outrageous deaths are made even worse by the disgraceful dismemberment and sales of body parts, most often done on children near the same gestative age as Job.

Job’s earthly life lasted just weeks, but it mattered…to his parents and to God. Just as all aborted babies, many desecrated by “tissue procurement,” also matter, to those who respect life, and the Creator of it.

“Children are a heritage from the Lordthe fruit of the womb a reward.” (Psalm 127:3/ESV)

Saturday’s Rally Against Planned Parenthood

I had plans for this Saturday morning, but they’ve been replaced with something better.

The Center for Medical Progress has released its seventh video documenting Planned Parenthood’s gruesome practice of selling baby parts. This latest piece includes the description of a through-the-face dissection technique used to procure intact aborted infant brain specimens.

Thirty years ago my obstetrician advised me to abort my second child, I didn’t. My voting record has been 100% pro-life. I’ve adopted two children who were threatened by abortion. I write blogs trying to convince others to refuse abortion. What more can a person do to FIGHT ABORTION?

Here’s something to do!

This Saturday a nationwide abortion protest is planned at all Planned Parenthood facilities. I will drive into Grand Rapids Michigan and find a place to park. I’ll walk many blocks until I arrive at 425 Cherry Street SE, and join friends in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic. In my car I carry posters of healthy babies with captions encouraging life. I’ll share those with others, and together we will do what we can to call attention to the killing Planned Parenthood does in Grand Rapids.

Our efforts on Saturday won’t stop abortions in our community, but it’s an opportunity to communicate our message of life, and that’s enough reason to do it!

“He will render to each one according to his works…for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury…There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil.” (Romans 2:6-9/ESV)
