“Moby in the Morning” signs off from his final show before retirement

James “Moby” Carney has completed his final show of “Moby in the Morning,” before retiring from his syndicated radio program.

“Why am I hanging up the headphones, other than, ‘Because of my wife told me to?” Moby expressed, according AJC. “It’s just come to be time where sleeping past 3:30 a.m. seems like a good idea.”

For over 40 years, Moby’s voice has been heard across the airwaves, entertaining listeners in big and small towns across America. His lively and wonderful humor has started people’s mornings for nearly 4 decades. Friday, December 30, 2016, the final “Yeah baby!” was heard across the airwaves.

Moby in the Morning aired on: 107.1-FM South 107 (Rome, GA), 101.3-FM The Bear (Buckhannon, WV), 106.9-FM WRBE (Lucedale, Mississippi), 94.5-FM Mountain (Manchester, GA),  105.5-FM KPFM (Mountain Home, AR), 97.5-FM The Storm (Poplar Bluff, Missouri).

Moby is in the Country Radio Hall of Fame and the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame.
