LGBTQ Overload

Yesterday I was bullied by an overtly gay clerk at a retail store. An hour later I withdrew cash from my Chase ATM and was directed by their onscreen advertising to acknowledge the LGBTQ community. Tonight I plan to be in a lakeside community with many prominent “Rainbow” exhibits, informing me that people there have surgically “changed” genders, are dressing like their “other” gender, may think they “are” another gender, or are just proud to be in “non-traditional” sexual relationships. My reaction? I wish I could just not care!

I’m becoming burned out emotionally from the onslaught of “gayness.” I get it. There are people who do not want to be “normal.”  I don’t believe it is my business to “fix” them. I do believe that I know the answer to their problems, but they don’t want to hear it. So, I’m OK with leaving them alone. But they won’t leave me alone!

I am a believer in God’s Word, which says that sin is not going to be overlooked. Sexual immorality is sin. This is never going to change, regardless of how many religious leaders abandon the Word.

I know that most will refuse God’s gift of forgiveness. Most will not acknowledge their need for a Savior. I’m sad for those who insist on continuing in a spiritual condition of guilt before their Creator. But I can’t change their minds. Only God’s Spirit can change hardened sinners.

It would be nice if I did not have to be reminded every day that people are rejecting God, and freely choosing to be separated from Him forever. But that day is one only to be realized when Jesus Himself rules on David’s throne in Jerusalem. I am truly looking forward to that day!

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. Before Him will be gathered all the nations, and He will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And He will place the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’…Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels’…And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:31-46/ESV)

The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ-followers to see God’s Big Picture and be a part of it. Adonai Eloheinu!

    DEAR MS. WYNALDA:

Consider, for a moment, that people who are Straight (i.e. heterosexual) have NEVER had to worry about being fired from their jobs, kicked out of their rental properties, turned away from businesses, or denied the right to marry the person they love solely because of THEIR sexual orientation.

I don’t think it’s asking too much that LGBT people shouldn’t have to worry about such things, either. And if and when that day should finally arrive, you will find that all the Gay Pride Parades will just fizzle away.

      Chuck,
Homosexuality is a sin, and a deviant lifestyle that is leads to other crimes. It will always be this way. Your comment is ridiculous in that if we were to substitute Homosexual with Thief, it would not work, or make sense, yet the two are on equal terms.
      Would you hire a thief?
Would you rent your house out to a thief?
Would you let your daughter marry a known thief?

What is next, “Thief pride”? How about “pedofile rights”? Or “animal lovers rights?
I am sorry, Homosexuality is a deviant, criminal, sinful lifestyle, which does not deserve to be legitimized, and normalized in society. The Bible calls this attitude in culture lawlessness.

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12)

        DEAR DAVID H:

I would certainly encourage you to conduct your own personal life as your personal religious beliefs dictate. But the United States is not a theocracy. It is not the job of government to enforce your personal interpretation of Scripture, but rather to uphold the Constitution.

In Lawrence v Texas, the Supreme Court ruled that being Gay is OK. And TODAY the Supreme Court ruled that there is no justification for denying law-abiding, taxpaying Gay couples the same legal benefits and opportunities that Straight couples have always taken for granted.

        Have a nice day.

You are merely taking pleasure in unrighteousness, but, those words mean nothing to you.
This is not about theocracy, but about spitting in the face of almighty God, and the ensuing Wrath that this brings upon that nation. Think about how many people will suffer then?
Homosexuality is a deviant unrighteous lifestyle, equivalent to pedophilia, and I will continue to say that so long as I still have my first amendment rights to do so. But those will also be taken away by the MAN because you have no God given rights. Do You see the conundrum that this decision has opened up in society? There is no longer the rule of Law, and no more morality. So I can steal from my neighbor, so long as The Man does not catch me, Or I can…..You fill in the blank. When there is no God, there is no right and Wrong. Good becomes evil, and evil Good depending on what man holds the Gun.
The constitution is based on a higher authority granting rights not civic authority. Marriage between a man and a woman is a God granted right. Homosexual marriage is an abomination to the Lord.

          watch, and then respond.
